I tailor each program to meet the needs of the individual client. I offer private, semi-private and group lessons on School Horses for those who do not own their own horse. I also teach clients who board their horses at Crescendo. Lessons are scheduled according to the riders ability and goals, as well as horse availability.
As a stepping stone to horse ownership, I recommend doing a half lease for a minimum of 6 months. This gives the rider or parent time to get a sense of both the time and financial commitments before taking the step up to buying a horse of their own.
For those who want to purchase a horse of their own, I work with clients to find the right fit for the rider's ability, goals, personality and price range. Commissions are billed based on purchase (or selling) price of the horse.
Full Care boarding includes daily turn out (every day, all day) in large grass fields. Stalls are bedded with shavings/sawdust on rubber mats and are cleaned daily (7 days/week), many have access to large sand paddocks (approximately 24'x65').
Each horse is on their own feed "recipe" based on what they need to maintain their weight. Due to our daily turn out, we feed AM & PM. If a horse is on limited turn out, they are given a lunch meal, and harder keepers also can get a late pm feed if necessary. We carry a variety of LMF sacked feed Rice Bran and Beet Pulp. For hay we feed Orchard and Timothy from the Bend/Madras area and also Local Timothy. We will feed owners supplements at no additional charge, and when several horses are on the same supplement, we will order in bulk and bill each client monthly.
Please see the Documents tab for PDF's of all the printed in formation related to Boarding, Lessons & Training. If you are interested in Crescendo, please Contact Us to schedule a farm tour and to watch a lesson or training ride. We often have a waiting list so getting a tour is the first step to getting on the waiting list.
